OVERVIEW

Windwood Productions will partner with PlayerData to produce an educational video series featuring Karlie Young, designed for integration into the United Soccer Coaches Association’s online learning platform.

The series will help coaches and players better understand how to leverage GPS-based performance data, breaking down key concepts in a clear, accessible, and visually engaging format. All videos will be filmed in-studio over a single production day, with PlayerData providing all supplemental b-roll footage and motion graphics for integration during post-production.

   A simple, high-level overview of GPS tracking technology and how it’s used across soccer to monitor and improve player performance.

2. How Hard is it to Use a GPS System?
   A direct, hands-on demonstration showing system setup, use, and data access—answering the practical question, “Do I have time for GPS?”

   A more advanced explanation of how GPS data informs training load management, recovery planning, and weekly practice design.

4. How to Prepare for a 10-Day Tournament
   Tactical insights on how to use GPS data to optimize training and readiness for extended competitions, including workload management and performance tracking.

5. The Importance of Data in the Modern Recruiting Landscape
   Optional remote or hybrid segment (outside the studio scope) featuring perspectives from college coaches on how data is influencing recruiting decisions and player readiness evaluation.
